《女红之美》分为文化篇、技艺篇和创意篇。文化篇，通过女红的源流传说与历史演绎，将源远流长的中国女红文化串联起来；技艺篇，探访中国四大名绣和具有代表性的少数民族刺绣，通过绣片背后的故事，阐述中国女红的技艺特点与文化价值；创意篇，跨界讲述现代女红的故事，感受“老手艺”与“新力量”的碰撞，领略多元文创产品蕴含的强大文化魅力。《女红之美》可作为职业院校公共选修课的教材。
  This book is divided into three parts: needlework culture， needlework craftsmanship and needlework innovation. In the first part， by reviewing the legends of the origin of needlework and its historical evolution， the pearls of the long-standing Chinese needlework culture are connected. The second part focuses on the technical characteristics and cultural value of Chinese needlework by leading the readers to explore the glamour of the Four Famous Embroideries of China and the representative embroidery of ethnic minorities through learning the stories behind the embroidery pieces. The third part tells the story of modern needlework， which is the product of the collision of “traditional craftsmanship” and “power of innovation”， and exhibits the powerful cultural charm contained in multicultural and innovative products. This book could serve as a textbook for public elective courses in vocational colleges.
